Changing up Sophie's Changing Table

One day about eight summers ago my mother and I stopped into this building along the highway I had heard sold antiques. So on this day we were passing there was a quilt hanging outside. I'm assuming that meant was the code for "We're Open".

So we braved it and opened the door, one step inside and behold! antiques. It's funny what roads you travel to find these interesting pieces of furniture. I spotted this dresser as we were leaving, it was exactly what I was looking for. I purchased it and we loaded it into my truck and
sang a victory song on the way home! It had become destined to be a changing table/dresser. Now that I am redoing her room I have painted it to use in my dining room for an extra buffet. One day when she leaves home it can go with her. I have four girls and we are all very sentimental, we try to hang on to meaningful pieces. We might have to paint or tweak but never the less they will be our very own heirlooms!
